Alyse studied Nonprofit Management at The Ohio State University before finding her passion in veterinary medicine. She has worked in the field for more than six years, gaining experience in shelter medicine, emergency, and general practice.
Although she once considered herself a dog person, Alyse has developed a special appreciation for feline patients and especially enjoys fostering neonatal kittens.
She lives in Columbus with her husband and their three cats: Scrappy, Norman, and Reggie. In her free time, Alyse enjoys watercolor painting, tending her native garden, kayaking, and immersing herself in thrillers - both on the page and on screen.
