Cassie was born and raised in Piqua, Ohio, and has had a passion for animals for as long as she can remember. Her love for animals led her to earn her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, with the original dream of one day working with sharks. Along the way, her passion for caring for animals grew into a love for veterinary medicine. She is currently continuing her
education to earn her Veterinary Technician degree.
As a Veterinary Assistant, Cassie enjoys being able to work with animals every day and help make their visits as comfortable and positive as possible. She loves being able to care for animals, learn something new each day, and continue developing her skills as she works toward becoming a veterinary technician.
Outside of work and school, Cassie enjoys spending time with her friends and family and, of course, her four beloved pets—her two pit mixes, Luna and Lilly, and her two cats, Little Guy and S’mores. She has always been an animal lover and is happiest when surrounded by the people and animals she loves. Whether she’s spending time with her pets, making memories with family and friends, or discovering something new about the animal world, Cassie is grateful to be able to turn her lifelong passion for animals into a career she loves.
